We are delighted to be hosting a group of 60 Chinese students and staff this week at HVS as part of a cultural exchange programme. Over the next three days, our students will accompany our guests around the school, take part in lessons together and socialise with them outside of lesson time. On your marks... get set... go! Our HVS Colour Run 2025 took place Friday afternoon, raising money for the 'Make a Difference for Molly' project in conjunction with our school charity, the Bee-lieve Foundation. Over 150 HVS students have taken part, raising vital funds to support the work of the project which was set up in memory of 21-year-old Molly Price from Horsell who tragically took her own life in May 2023. The project will help each school to provide additional support, learning, training and resources to empower its students by boosting their knowledge, skills, strategies and understanding of how to become, and remain, emotionally well. #ColourRun #BeeLieveFoundation #MakeADifferenceForMolly

Our students had the incredible opportunity to present and debate hot topics from school uniforms to term-time holidays and nuclear weapons right in front of the Mayor of Woking. After lively discussions and a vote led by the Mayor, students were treated to tea and biscuits in the Mayor's parlour, where they had the chance to ask questions and chat in a relaxed setting.
