We are always looking for passionate and innovative individuals who are excited about building a new 21st century school for our local community. This is a unique opportunity to join our school and be a part of designing a new curriculum and building a team as the school expands.
Our staff feedback shows we have a team who feel trusted, listened to and who have a healthy work life balance. The excellent behaviour of our students and our resistance to any unnecessary paperwork means staff can really focus on teaching and learning. All of our team have a bespoke CPD programme in place and have a buddy in a partner secondary school with whom they share best practice, plan collaboratively and standardise assessments. Our staff are offered a cycle to work scheme, reduced gym membership at our neighbouring sports facilities and have access to convenient free parking. We also have additional holiday at the end of the Autumn and Summer terms to recognise and reward the commitment of our staff.

Mr Kevin Kelly
Acting Head Teacher
Mr Kelly joined HVS from The Bishop Wand School in Sunbury-on-Thames where he was the acting Deputy Headteacher. Mr Kelly was Head of Progress and Attainment for KS3 and KS4, and he was most recently the school’s child protection officer. He was also in charge of managing all the student services at the school.
Mr Kelly is responsible for Safeguarding and Child Protection and is the Designated Teacher for Looked After Children. He is also responsible for Behaviour, Attitudes & the Personal Development of our wonderful students.
Mr Kelly obtained his BA QTS in Physical Education from St Marys University in Twickenham after he moved over to England from Ireland in 1999. Mr Kelly is a sports fanatic, especially Rugby, and enjoys seeing how the students at HVS get involved within the extra-curricular clubs. The links between Academic success and exercise have been well documented and this is something that he supports within the school.
