ICT Partner
Hoe Valley School is very pleased to announce that we have appointed Joskos as our ICT supplier. At Hoe Valley School we believe ICT has a crucial role to play in delivering the learning experience we want for our students – not for its own sake, but because of the value it adds to core elements of the operation of the school.
Hoe Valley School will be a 21st Century school and our ICT will reflect this in order to enhance and support the students’ learning, streamline the business operations of the school and automate administration, assessment and reporting. We want our ICT to add value to the experience of everyone associated with the school: students, parents, staff, governors and the community.
Technology is a feature of modern life, and when our students begin their own working lives they will be using technology that hasn’t been invented yet. Hoe Valley students will be technologically capable, confident and flexible to enable them to thrive in whatever direction their future careers take them. Technology in the school will be a tool used to its maximum benefit in all areas.
We selected Joskos as their values and ethos matches our own. Joskos is committed to improving the life chances of learners though enabling an outstanding educational experience. Joskos only works within education and therefore has an intimate understanding of what makes a successful school with ICT embedded at its heart. Joskos recognises that every school has different needs and so delivers a personalised service. Joskos has a dedicated team with a strong educational background that understands the importance of enabling personalised learning and building strong home-school relationships through the provision of educationally appropriate ICT systems and resources.

School Business Manager
We are delighted to have successfully recruited our School Business Manager (SBM). This is the person who will provide overall strategic leadership and management of all business aspects of our school, including managing accounts and budget planning, HR, deployment of resources, administration, premises, Health and Safety, IT infrastructure and grant applications etc. Our SBM currently occupies a senior role in the private sector and has all the skills and expertise we were looking for. We are very much looking forward to welcoming our SBM onto the team in March.
