Sports Day

On Wednesday 13th July HVS students boarded 2 coaches and headed for Woking Athletics Club for the first House Sports Day.DSC_0002 - Copy

All the students took part in at least one event.  Field Events were Javelin, Shot, Discus, Long Jump and Standing Long Jump and Track Events were 100m, 200m 300m 800m & 1500m plus relays

Points and medals were awarded to those students who came in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.   Staff competed in a 75m race for their house too!!

The points were then totalled up and a trophy was presented to the winning house, which was Nightingale.  So well done to them and to everyone who took part.
