Paralympian Kate Grey comes to HVS

Posted on 09/12/2016 by Tracy Wright

Kate Grey, a Paralympic swimmer joined Hoe Valley students on Thursday to share with them the highs and lows of her story as a Paralympic athlete. Students were particularly shocked to learn that Kate, despite being number 1 in the World, missed out on competing the London 2012 Olympics due to illness. Kate aimed to inspire students to “always be the best that they can be” in anything they put their minds too. Something we aspire to instill in our students as we get them ready for the world of work.

Our students also had lots of fun working on their team player skills and abilities to focus on a task.
