Innovation Day at HVS! Students are today looking at all aspects of what would need to be done in the event of an earthquake. They will work in five groups for the day. Each group will have a particular area to focus on, and a particular problem to solve.

Hoe Valley School earthquake
Warning: An earthquake is predicted to strike Hoe Valley School in Woking at around 2:00pm, and students are working hard to prevent as much damage as possible. Disastrously, Hoe Valley School, which opened only a year ago, could be completely destroyed and many lives may be lost. The students are working to their fullest to find a way to minimise the impact of the earthquake. It is estimated to measure 7.2 on the Richter Scale, which is very powerful. Students are working on the structure of Hoe Valley, separating right and wrong scenarios, plotting earthquakes and discovering how they happened and cutting out interesting earthquake facts.
