District Sports – 30.6.17

Posted on 06/07/2017 by Tracy Wright

HVS took part in their first ever District Sports event at Woking Athletics track last Friday, competing against eleven other schools in the District, including Gordon’s, SJB, Winston Churchill & Woking High. Despite having significantly fewer students competing than the other eleven schools, the HVS students showed fantastic enthusiasm, resilience and competitiveness throughout the day.

Highlights of the day included Gracie winning gold in the Year 8 girls 100m, Nyah winning gold in the Year 8 girls 200m and Callum finishing second in the Year 8 boys long jump.

Well done to all those involved!
