Welcome to another ACCESS day at HVS.
Year 7 visited RHS Wisley. They took part in a scavenger hunt to develop their map skills for half of the day. For the second half of the day they visited the glasshouses to learn about plant adaptations.
Year 8 students spent the day working to develop their ACCESS skill of self governing. Through sessions led by providers Eikon, Kooth and CAMHS Youth Advisors, the students gained an understanding of the term ‘well being’ and how to maintain a positive well being. They also participated in team building and outdoor resilience sessions.
Year 9 also spent the day at RHS Wisley. They investigated the role of plants within ecosystems across 4 workshops run by the Wisley education team.
