International Creative Collaboration Our Year 9 Art and Photography students recently took part in an inspiring online workshop with a partner school in China. Together, they explored the traditions and symbolism of Chinese New Year before creating their own printmaking designs inspired by cultural symbols such as dragons, carp and other lucky motifs. The workshop provided a fantastic opportunity for cultural exchange, collaboration and creativity, allowing students to connect with international peers while developing their artistic skills. We are incredibly proud of the beautiful and imaginative prints they produced and the enthusiasm they showed throughout the experience. Well done to everyone involved! #HoeValleySchool #ArtAndPhotography #CulturalExchange #CreativeLearning #ChineseNewYear

Happy World Environment Day! This week, we were delighted to welcome representatives from University College London (UCL) and the Association for Physical Education (afPE) to Hoe Valley School. As part of an exciting project exploring the links between Physical Education, sustainability and climate change education, our Year 10 students shared their ideas and perspectives on how these important topics could be combined in the future. Students took part in discussions and interviews, helping to shape resources that could support teachers and young people for years to come. A huge thank you to our Year 10 students for their thoughtful contributions and enthusiasm. It is inspiring to see young people helping to drive conversations about creating a more sustainable future. #WorldEnvironmentDay #Sustainability #ClimateEducation #PhysicalEducation #StudentVoice HoeValleySchool
