Hoe Valley School Students celebrated strong GCSE Results today.

Students and staff at Hoe Valley School are celebrating a very strong set of GCSE results today, with nearly 66% of all students achieving grade 4+ in at least 5 subjects, including Maths and English. This is our highest results yet in this area and demonstrates significant progress from last year, where the school achieved 58% in this key performance indicator. 

The school is also particularly pleased with the high performance at the top end of the results, with nearly a quarter of all grades awarded being grades 9-7 (22.5%) and nearly half of all pupils achieving a grade 5+ in 5 subjects, including Maths and English (48%), which is over 11% higher than last year's results. 

Ms Owoh the Headteacher, expressed her delight with the results. "I am thrilled for our students and very proud of their hard work and achievements this year. These results are a testament to the incredible effort and resilience shown by students and staff alike, particularly this year. Naturally, there is still a lot of work still to be done, but these results provide a firm foundation for which we plan to build upon in the coming years.”
