Hoe Valley Sixth Form Celebrates A-Level Results

Students at Hoe Valley School are celebrating a fantastic set of A-Level results today, with a significant number achieving top grades and securing their next steps in education or employment.
The results highlight the hard work and dedication of both students and staff, with over a third of all grades awarded being A*-B (35%). A remarkable 17% of all grades were at the top tier of A*-A alone, demonstrating exceptional academic achievement across a number of subjects. Furthermore, the overall pass rate remained consistently high, with 96% of all grades being A*-E.
Acting Head Teacher Mr Kelly expressed his pride in the students' accomplishments stating, "I'm delighted with the effort and resilience shown by our A-Level students this year, it’s certainly not been easy for them and they’ve stuck at the task, despite building works and other setbacks" he said. "This cohort has not only achieved great academic results, but have also developed the skills and determination necessary to succeed in the future. They are truly 'work ready,' and I have no doubt they will thrive as they embark on their exciting journeys, whether that's at university or by heading straight into the world of work."
The school wishes all its departing students the very best for their future endeavours and looks forward to hearing about how they are getting on at our alumni events in the future. See you soon & all the best!
