Head Teacher's Message

I am pleased to welcome you to Hoe Valley School.

The school was founded in 2015 by parents, educational and business leaders who aspired to build a local, non-selective 11-18 school for the children of south Woking. Their vision was to provide a first-class education that gives all students who walk through its doors, regardless of background or need, an opportunity to achieve their full potential. Ten years on, we are immensely proud of our happy and thriving school community. It is a school where students are caring, hardworking and well-rounded global citizens who are confident and ambitious about their future and what they can become.

Everything we do is built on our ‘CIRCLE’ values: Courtesy, Integrity, Resilience, Community, Leadership and Enthusiasm. These values drive our high expectations within our thriving community of learners.  We endeavour to ensure we deliver consistently high-quality teaching and that our students are well supported to achieve their full potential.  As a Google School, we believe in equipping our young people with the tools and experiences that thoroughly prepare them for the world of the future. As part of this, our ‘work-ready’ programme runs through our curriculum and is personalised to foster creativity and adaptability – skills needed for students to thrive in a 21st century workplace.

I invite you to explore our website for more information and please contact us if you would like a tour. We are an open school because we feel that this is the best way for you to truly get a sense of what we offer our students. We look forward to seeing you.
