Over the summer we would encourage all students to complete some transition work, to aid them with the big jump between GCSE and A level study. Every subject is linked below to help you feel more confident about starting your courses. All our summer transition work includes the following 3 elements to help you feel like a PRO when your sixth form journey begins!
Preparation – An opportunity to engage in some tasks that will help introduce you to the knowledge required at the start of the course or to help consolidate key GCSE level material.
Reading – Some essential or wider reading to help you develop this crucial skill for your A level studies.
Organisation – Some tips on how to stay organised within the subject and what essential materials will be required for the course.
